Sunyata consisted of Arizona Death Grind members and previous members of GodAwfulNoise, Sorrower, Blodskam, Warfair, ETTS, Conflict Resolution, Inducing Terror, Deadwrong, Carrion, and He who Bind Himself. It was sort of an Arizona All star band.This B side of this split was originally intended to be Sunyata's first demo. It turned out to be the only official, professional, recording they ever did in a studio. It was recorded by Ryan Butler at Arcane Digital Recording. Sunyata members included Danny Ruiz, Chris Aguirre, Tim Callaway, and James Kalenak for most of it's existence. Also for short period of times Jesse Schoof, Andy Schmitt, Cody Powers, and Frank Faerman were in the band. Sunyata was basically the early stages of what turned out to be GodAwfulNoise in the end. Tim Callaway formed Sorrower. Chris Aguirre formed Blodskam and Danny Ruiz formed GodAwfulNoise. All these bands are still active in the Arizona grindcore and death metal scene.
